I have been a practice partner at Shrewsbury Vets4Pets since 2007. I love working at the surgery and getting to know all our patients, assisted by our friendly and caring team of colleagues. I enjoy the variety of being a vet but I have a special interest in orthopaedics and cardiology. Outside of work I am kept busy running our small farm with my wife and 3 boys. I have worked in two other small animal practices including a busy veterinary hospital where I gained lots of valuable experience. I qualified in August 2020 as an RVN and I absolutely love my job. I love all aspects of the job and taking care of pets is a passion of mine. My favourite part of nursing is emergency and critical care. I have a Lurcher called Barney and two cats called Oscar and Bree who love to cause mischief at home. I am a clinical coach to two of the students in practice which involves mentoring them through their nurses training. I love teaching the students new skills and seeing them progress. My favorite part of my job is theatre work and anaesthesia.
